Terms of Service

Welcome to Food Run ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Food Run mobile application and website at foodrunpk.com. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering contracts to use Food Run. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and current.

2. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Services Offered

Food Run provides an on-demand delivery platform for:

Food delivery from partner restaurants
Grocery and mart items delivery
Pharmacy and medicine delivery
Courier services
Local shop (Run Corner) services

4. Orders and Payments

All prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Minimum order amount is Rs 200.
Delivery fee is Rs 79 for orders below Rs 1,000 (free delivery above Rs 1,000).
Accepted payment methods: Cash on Delivery, Wallet (in-app), Credit/Debit cards (via Stripe).
Orders are confirmed upon payment (or COD acceptance).

5. Delivery

Estimated delivery times are approximate, not guaranteed.
Maximum delivery radius: 15 km from the store.
You must provide accurate delivery address and be available to receive the order.
If you are unavailable, the rider will wait up to 10 minutes before marking the order as failed.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Orders can be cancelled free of charge before confirmation by the vendor.
After vendor confirmation, cancellation may incur a fee or be denied.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
Wallet refunds are instant.
For quality issues, contact support within 24 hours of delivery.

7. Wallet

Maximum wallet balance: Rs 50,000.
Signup bonus: Rs 50 (new users).
Referral bonus: Rs 100 per successful referral.
Wallet balance is non-transferable and non-refundable to bank accounts except in cases of account closure.

8. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

Use the Service for illegal or fraudulent purposes.
Impersonate another person or provide false information.
Harass, abuse, or threaten riders, vendors, or support staff.
Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service.
Place fake orders or engage in chargeback fraud.

9. Partner (Rider / Vendor) Terms

If you register as a Rider or Vendor, additional terms apply:

Riders: 80% commission per delivery. Must have valid ID, CNIC, and vehicle documents.
Vendors: 20% platform commission. Must have valid business registration.
Partners are independent contractors, not employees of Food Run.
Partner accounts may be suspended for low ratings, policy violations, or fraud.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on Food Run (logo, design, code, text, graphics) is our property or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

Food Run is a platform connecting customers with vendors and riders. We are NOT liable for:

Food quality or safety issues (vendor responsibility).
Delivery delays due to traffic, weather, or external factors.
Actions of riders or vendors beyond our direct control.
Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order in dispute.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific results.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be notified via email or in-app.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraud, or harmful conduct. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Karachi, Pakistan.
